About Jack Bailey

Jack Bailey is a corrective exercise kinesiologist practitioner specializing in rehabilitation, and performance coaching in San Diego, California. His work blends orthopedic assessment, personalized corrective exercise, strength training, nutrition, and lifestyle coaching to help clients reduce pain, restore alignment, and improve how their body functions and performs. Through in depth, science backed biomechanical assessments, Jack identifies the root causes of pain and movement dysfunction. From there, he builds individualized programs designed to correct imbalances, improve movement patterns, and create the optimal environment for the body to heal and perform.

Early Career

Jack’s passion for rehabilitation began through his own athletic career and experience with injury.

He started on full scholarship at San Diego State University for football before injuries unfortunately cut that chapter short. He later went on to play baseball for two years at Riverside City College.

During this time, Jack was also recovering from a slightly torn ACL and a low back disc bulge. After struggling to find lasting relief through traditional therapy, he began studying holistic health, biomechanics  and how the body heals as an integrated system. By applying principles focused on movement, nutrition, sleep, and stress management, he was able to restore his own health. Within a year, follow up MRI imaging revealed that both injuries had healed, completely changing the direction of his career.

Jack later spent three years working as a strength coach and personal trainer at Fitness Quest 10, one of San Diego’s most respected performance training facilities, where he coached clients ranging from general population to high school and college athletes.

Education and Credentials

Jack began studying kinesiology and exercise science at San Diego State University and Point Loma Nazarene University before continuing his professional education through the CHEK Institute, one of the world’s leading education systems for corrective exercise and holistic health.

He is currently a Level 3 CHEK Practitioner and Level 2 CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach, applying a systems based approach that addresses the physical, nutritional, and lifestyle factors that influence pain, performance, and long term health.
